Bodega

Lifestyle brand Bodega, founded in Boston in 2006, is as well known for its multiple endeavors as its conceptual boutiques. Founded as an enterprise that fused counterculture with art, fashion, and design, Bodega operates boutiques, produces its own brand of apparel, and co-founded the Boston Art Book Fair. Bodega even dabbles in Pirate Radio and experiential art.

Bodega’s founders drew their concept and curation from their experiences as DJs and artists, so it is no surprise that their ingenuity caught the attention of major brands. Carrying an inspiring roster of pieces from brands like Comme des Garçons and Carhartt WIP, Bodega has been tapped by none other than Nike to collaborate on their rendition of beloved styles like the Nike Dunk High Bodega Legend Fauna Brown, with customized top stitching and Bodega branding, it’s plain to see that Bodega understands how to make their aesthetic stand out in sneaker design.

Part of being a top collector is understanding which brands are players and why what they create is unique. Bodega, which operates only a handful of physical locations in select cities, has helped create the drive for unique and sought after sneakers and streetwear by being able to bring in exclusive collaborative styles and connect with collectors. Proving their performance since 2006, Bodega’s reach has caught the attention of fellow sneaker brands like New Balance, adidas, Saucony, and Hoka, as well as art toy brands like Bearbrick.
