CLOT

CLOT is a streetwear and lifestyle label that was founded in 2003 by Edison Chen and Kevin Poon. The brand was formed with the goal of bridging the gap between Eastern and Western culture, with many of CLOT’s collections often introducing elements of traditional Chinese aesthetics into contemporary streetwear designs.

Bold colors, loud patterns, and embellishments—hallmarks of CLOT’s signature style—have defined and solidified CLOT as one of the most iconic streetwear brands. Their style blends tradition with bold creativity, resulting in thoughtfully designed apparel and goods that have earned the brand a global following and high-profile collaborations with brands like Stussy, Nike, and Disney, among others. Since 2006, Nike has launched a series of sneaker collaborations with CLOT, adding bold and creative designs to classic silhouettes, like in the Nike Air Max 1 CLOT Kiss of Death (2021). Footwear isn’t the only collaborative avenue the brand has explored, as it has also delved into contemporary art, regularly collaborating with Medicom Toy, specifically on Bearbricks—a fascinating crossover between fashion and art.

CLOT’s legacy in streetwear is hard to dispute, with the brand cementing its status as a cultural icon that celebrates diversity and blending influences across cultures. It continues to be a trailblazer in contemporary streetwear, with many of its collections revisiting and embracing its Chinese roots—introducing traditional textiles, silhouettes, and patterns into the streetwear scene. Pair CLOT with bold Nike accessories for a fresh, statement-making look.
