Diesel

The Diesel label was created by Renzo Rosso in 1978 in the small Italian town of Breganze. Looking back, the name now has an interesting irony. The word was originally chosen because diesel fuel was then seen as an "alternative" type of energy. Rosso thus used it to imply an alternative fashion outlook. And that is still true to this day. Diesel is known for its unique takes on classic clothing and accessory lines. The 1990s saw the company expand internationally, making a splash with its first stores in London and New York. Since then, it has become one of the world's most popular brands in the industry, with a constantly fashion-forward outlook.

Initially starting only with denim, Diesel clothing now comes in many traditional and modern materials. Classic leather biker jackets rub shoulders with cotton T-shirts and polyester long-sleeve tops. There are plenty of dresses and shorts too. Every item comes with a dash of designer panache while still accessible as streetwear. You can find everything from a pre-faded and trendily scuffed baseball cap to a shimmering Diesel 1DR Shoulder Bag in Mirrored Leather Gold.

Diesel is not just a brand; it's a symbol of reliability and value. Its products, regarded as top-class and reliable, are known to retain their value over time. This is one of the most desirable brands in the history of modern fashion and accessories. It's a creative international lifestyle brand, with a cosmopolitan appeal. The label is part of the OTB Group, and its sister brands include Marni and Maison Margiela. It always promises 5th Avenue credentials mixed with youthful street cred and a somewhat playful approach to design.
