Ewing Athletics

Established in 1989 by NBA legend Patrick Ewing, Ewing Athletics is a premier name when it comes to basketball-inspired footwear. With an eye toward fashion sneakers and wanting to throw a nod to the 90s hip-hop aesthetic, Ewing Athletics dips into the old-school look of heritage brands. Current models introduce fresh colorways and styles, updated tech, and elevated collaborations with artists and cultural institutions with plenty of street cred.

Ewing Athletics are known for their signature silhouette of the chunky high-top with ankle straps of Velcro. Having collaborated with hip-hop acts such as 2 Chainz, Death Row Records, and the Wu-Tang Clan keeps the brand relevant among the urban culture as much as lovers of trendy streetwear. Bright colorways with premium textile choices create a retro look such as the Ewing 33 Hi All-Star, perfect for a unisex market.

We love the fashion-forward sensibilities that Ewing Athletics retains while leaning into vintage looks. The brand has taken footwear into a modern space that welcomes new fans, regardless of their history with the sport. The shapes are perfect for daily casual wear—with an edge. Given the bright colors and bold designs used in Ewings Athletics shoes, you may wish to mix up your outfit with some minimalism to let your Ewings stand out even more.
