Porsche

German automotive manufacturer Porsche is well known worldwide for the beauty of its vehicles, grounded by top-tier performance. Founded in 1931, Porsche is known for its luxury SUVs, sports cars, and sedans. Since 2009, Porsche has been a part of Germany’s Volkswagen AG.

One of the most iconic vehicles of the Porsche roster is the 911, a two-door, high-performance sports car featuring a rear engine. The 911 made its debut in September 1964 in Stuttgart, Germany. The 911 was noteworthy for its flat-six rear-mounted engine and torsion bar suspension. The ensuing decades have seen Porsche AG work tirelessly to enhance the model. However, the initial concept has largely remained unchanged. Since the 1970s, Porsche has also been known for luxury accessories, including sunglasses, furniture, watches, and other luxury items. Fans of Porsche’s non-automotive products will appreciate their latest endeavor, a collaboration with New York-based Aimé Leon Dore. The two brands crafted a custom-restored 1990 Porsche 964 911 Carrera 4 in an edition of one, along with a range of clothing and accessories. Porsche owners will appreciate the chic Aime Leon Dore x Porsche 356 Crochet Driving Gloves in Navy and White.

The Aimé Leon Dore x Porsche collaboration includes traditional driving accessories like baseball caps, key fobs, and scarves, but it also branches into apparel. The styles express the sophistication that Porsche represents, utilizing tasteful color palettes and elegant script branding. However, Aimé Leon Dore is no stranger to collaboration. The brand has worked with other major entities, including New Balance and Puma, while their original designs are also highly sought after for their classically sporty aesthetic.
