Squishmallow

Squishmallows made their debut in 2017 when a company called Kelly Toys started introducing them. The founder of the company got the idea to begin manufacturing them after seeing similar plush toys making a big splash in Japan and turning into sought-after collectibles. They are available in a wide variety of shapes and sizes these days, and to date, the brand behind them has created more than 1,000 characters that each come with their own names and backstories.

Social media platforms like TikTok have been credited with helping Squishmallows grow in popularity so quickly. During the pandemic, many people who collect these cuddly creatures started showing off their collections on apps like TikTok. It helped take the brand to the next level, with many people clamoring to get their hands on options like the Squishmallow The Mushroom 16 Inch Plush and the Squishmallow Austin The Avocado 16 Inch Plush.

While most of the Squishmallows that have been welcomed into the world are original characters, there are also quite a few familiar faces in the crowd. From the Squishmallow Star Wars the Mandalorian Baby Yoda the Child 10 Inch Plush to the Squishmallow Sanrio Hello Kitty Sunglasses 20 Inch Plush to the Squishmallow Pokemon 20" Pikachu Plush, at least some Squishmallows are based on characters that most people already know and love.
