Ambush draws inspiration from 1950’s military attire for the Converse Chuck Taylor All-Star 70s Hi Ambush White, now available on StockX. Developed during the Korean War of the early 1950’s, Mickey Mouse boots (or Bunny Boots) became a vital part of the military’s extreme cold weather clothing system. In preparation for this winter, Ambush has fused the classic design elements of Bunny Boots with the classic silhouette of the Converse All-Star Hi.
This Converse All-Star 70s Hi features a coconut milk rubberized upper with matte detailing and printed external instructions paying homage to the functional construction of the bunny boot. A heightened platform midsole, bold Ambush branding on the heel, and waxed tubed laces complete the design. These sneakers released in October of 2019 and retailed for $180.
