The Nike Air Foamposite Pro Volt is a contemporary basketball sneaker with a distinctive and futuristic design. The shoe was first released in 1997 and became popular due to its innovative construction.

The shoe’s upper is constructed from a single-piece synthetic shell known as Foamposite which is durable and molds to the wearer's foot over time. The outside of the upper is molded into wave-like grooves which adds to the distinctive look of the shoes. The entire shoe is covered in ‘Volt,’ a light bright green hue with black accents on the Swoosh and Foamposite branding on the heel. Other distinct design features include a pull tab on the tongue and heel plus a padded collar lining.
