The Jordan 1 SB Lance Mountain Black pays homage to skater Lance Mountain from Pasadena, who wore mismatched Air Jordan sneakers in a skateboarding video released in 1987.

The Jordan 1 SB inspired by Lance Mountain in a primarily black colorway features a black leather upper with black leather overlays, black laces, a black padded collar, and a black mesh tongue. There is a Black-n-Black debossed Wings logo on the lateral collar. The midsole is white foam cushioning with encapsulated Air and tonal stitching. The outsole of one shoe is Royal Blue rubber, while the outsole of the other shoe is red rubber, and both sport the classic Air Jordan traction pattern of concentric circles on the forefoot.
