Product Description
The Air Jordan 23 was first introduced in 2008, and to mark the occasion, Jordan Brand unveiled a "Countdown Pack" that included the Air Jordan 16 as well as the Air Jordan 7 with the numbers attached to these shoes adding up to 23. The Jordan 16 Retro Bred CDP (2008) was the Jordan 16 chosen to be a part of this limited-edition pack.
This Jordan 16 features an all-black upper with black patent leather on it. It also has a leather shroud that covers up the sneaker's laces. This was the original colorway that the Jordan 16 was released in, and it complemented the white Air Jordan 7 that was packaged with it as part of the "Countdown Pack" for the Air Jordan 23.
According to our experts, the shroud used on this Air Jordan 16 is the star of the show. It gives this AJ16 its unique appearance, while also providing the black upper on it with some protection when it's worn. The Jordan 16 Retro Bred CDP (2008) was released on June 21, 2008, for an initial retail price of $155.
