Jordan brand released a Jordan 5 Retro Green Bean in 2022. But the original Green Bean version of this Air Jordan emerged back in 2006 and featured the same two-tone colorway for the first time.

The upper on this Air Jordan 5 consisted of a light grey nubuck that came completely coated in a reflective finish to make it shine when the light hit it. It also had a dark grey midsole made of polyurethane that provided contrast with the upper along with a translucent rubber outsole.

But the best aspects of this Air Jordan 5 sneaker were the bright green accents that could be found on the interior lining, the Jumpman logos, and, of course, the shark-tooth details that were used on the midsole. They added a fresh pop of color that set these Jordans apart from other AJ 5 releases. The Jordan 5 Retro Green Bean was released on September 23, 2006, for an original retail price of $135.
