Shortly after the official announcement of the collaboration, KAWS took to Instagram again to announce that this would also be the final collaboration between the artist and Uniqlo. The result was an unprecedented level of hype which resulted in the site crashing and riots in some malls in China. The Blue BFF Striped Tee is a blue and black striped tee featuring the KAWS BFF face on the chest. The Blue KAWS x Uniqlo BFF Striped Tee released on Monday, June 3rd, 2019 and retailed for $15 USD.
