The Nike KD 6 Aunt Pearl is a special edition colorway of Kevin Durant's sixth signature basketball shoe with Nike. The ‘Aunt Pearl’ colorway was inspired by and dedicated to Kevin Durant's Aunt Pearl, who had passed away from lung cancer in 2000.

The shoes have predominantly blue and pink uppers, representing breast cancer awareness, which is complemented by floral patterns and pearl details. The upper is constructed using a mix of materials such as mesh and synthetic overlays and mesh which have lightweight and breathable properties keeping your foot comfortable and cool all day.

One thing we love about the Nike KD 6 Aunt Pearl is the meaning and inspiration behind the colorway. Not only does it raise awareness about breast cancer, but it also pays tribute to Durant’s Aunt with a floral motif similar to the pattern on a robe that Aunt Pearl often wore. The shoes were first released for retail in March 2014 for $150.
