The upper portion of the What The KD is made from a mix of different materials, including mesh, synthetic leather, and Hyperposite. The Hyperposite adds reinforcement and protection during fast-paced game play, while the mesh and synthetic leather provide breathability and flexibility. The shoe also features a Max Air unit located in the heel of the shoe, which provides cushioning and impact absorption while jumping and landing on the court.
