The New Balance 2002R Gore-Tex JJJJound Pine is a collaboration between the iconic sneaker company and the menswear design collective founded in Montreal by Justin R. Saunders.

The New Balance x JJJJound 2002R Gore-Tex Pine features an upper with a rugged base of tightly woven black mesh. This is overlaid with thick mottled green suede strips that bolster the upper at the toe cap, eyestays, quarter panel, collar, and heel. The signature side panel N puffs out in black leather and features reflective detailing. Black rope laces with a black lace lock add to the rugged look of this upper. Dual branding adorns the black heel counter, and Gore-Tex branding appears above 2002R debossed branding at the outer collar. This durable upper rests on a black ABZORB midsole with an SBS ABZORB unit in the heel for ultimate cushioning over rugged terrain. The black rubber outsole is deeply lugged for multi-surface traction.
