The New Balance 9060 Navy White takes design elements and function-first technology originally found in the 990 models and perfects them. Like other Y2K-inspired running shoes, the 9060 Navy White features visible tech that gives the running shoe a futuristic appearance.

The sway bars on the mesh upper are larger in the 9060 iteration than on the 990 model. The bulky midsole comes with both ABZORB and SBS cushioning. This reduces stress from impact and makes the bottom of the shoe look high-tech. ‘9060’ branding can be found on the tongue in bond red, while the New Balance ‘N’ is displayed across the side panel.
