The upper is made from an array of materials, including mesh, suede, and fabric overlays, to ensure both breathability and sturdiness. The shoe also integrates the signature cushioning technology of New Balance, which provides support and comfort. In addition, the sneaker is equipped with a lacing system for a secure fit and a padded tongue and collar for extra comfort. The shoe features a durable rubber outsole for grip. The collaboration is completed by the Kawhi Leonard branding on the tongue and the "NB" logo on the heel.

The New Balance Kawhi Jolly Rancher was released for a retail price of $160 in October 2020.
