The original Air Max 2 CB debuted in 1994, but this sneaker pays tribute to Tinker Hatfield’s design and adds contemporary updates. Although the basketball shoe’s silhouette remains the same, the grayscale colorway is a new touch. The overlapping panels on the leather upper feature Light Smoke Grey, Dark Smoke Grey, and Light Silver. Barely Green on the visible Air Max units in the heel provides pops of color against the neutral backdrop. The sneaker boasts a reinforced lace closure system with an additional strap at the top. A pull tab on the heel helps the wearer remove the sneaker, while perforations on the side panels and vamp add breathability.
