Like several iterations of the Nike Air Max 2017, this version features a gradient that fades from Binary Blue to obsidian, from the heel to the toe. The upper is made of Nike’s signature Flymesh, which combines foam with layers of mesh to create a lightweight, breathable material. The Flymesh gives the shoe a slightly more padded look than can be found on Nike sneakers made with Flyknit. Last, the upper sits on a midsole that boasts visible, bubble-like Air cushioning, one of the shoe’s signature features.
