The Night Maroon iteration of the Nike Air Max 270 includes its most salient feature, a large pod of maroon-tinted Air that stretches underneath the entire back half of the shoe. This is incorporated into a luxuriously soft white foam midsole that offers springy cushion. The grippy rubber outsole sports pods of rubber shades of both maroon and black. The black matches the Nike Swooshes on the upper, as well as the 270 branding on the medial side panel and the Air branding on the tongue.
Our favorite aspect of this sneaker is the stand-out color blocking on the upper – the front of the shoe is composed of snowy white mesh, while the back of the shoe is crafted from dark maroon textile. The Nike Air Max 270 Night was released July 11, 2023, for a retail price of $160.
