The Nike Air Max USA 270 has an upper that is made of breathable mesh, which allows for ventilation and enables the feet to remain cool. The shoe also includes a synthetic overlay for added support and  is primarily white, with red and navy accents inspired by the colors of the American flag. The midsole of the shoe incorporates Nike's signature Air Max technology, providing a responsive and comfortable feel. The shoe also features a durable rubber outsole with a multidirectional tread pattern, which provides traction and facilitates fast cuts and direction changes. The Nike swoosh appear in red near the collar and at the toe box in navy.
