Nike collaborated with Ken Griffey Jr. to release the Nike Air Max 90 Griffey Swingman.

Part-inspired by the sport itself and the Mariners, various hues and embellishments touch the Nike Air Max 90 Griffey Swingman upper. The collar displays an ornate stitch that resembles the stitch found on a baseball. The panels mix together a white base with grey quarter panels and black mudguards. Callbacks to Junior's former team - the Seattle Mariners - shine through in the navy lining and the Northwest Green used throughout. The latter also appears on the tongue label and insole whose matching "24" graphic is complemented by Junior's iconic backwards cap.
