The Nike Air Max 90 Ultramarine upgrades the Nike Air Max 90 silhouette with a white base and accents of Solar Red and Ultramarine – a deep blue color.
The Ultramarine color first appeared in 1991 on an Air Max 180 model. This time, the bright Ultramarine and Solar Red accents complement the crisp lines found across the Air Max 90. The upper is made of a tight, breathable mesh with smooth leather overlays. The tonal overlays form part of the lace cage and wrap around the shoe. A Swoosh in Ultramarine peeks out from between the leather overlays and matches the collar and tongue lining. In terms of branding, ‘NIKE AIR MAX’ is printed across the tongue logo tag, while a Nike Air patch graces the heel panel.
