The Nike Air Max 90 USA Denim features a soft white leather upper with a white denim collar, red denim Swoosh and eyestays, and a navy blue denim tongue with a Carolina blue tag with white Nike branding and Swoosh.

Hits of white TPU appear on the eyestays, midsole, quarter AIR MAX branding, and heel with Nike branding and Swoosh. A blue synthetic leather heel seat matches the blue hit of TPU at the top of the eyestays. The insole is red with white Nike and Swoosh, the midsole is white foam with visible Air, and the outsole is white, sometimes translucent, rubber.
