The Nike Air Max 90 Varsity Pack Muted Bronze gives the iconic silhouette a rustic aesthetic by mixing up some of the more iconic material choices.
The Muted Bronze colorway of the Varsity Pack Nike Air Max 90 features an upper of soft brown textile overlaid with a warmer brown suede. An even richer hue of brown suede forms the mudguard and the overlay at the bottom of the eyestays. The signature TPU of the eye stays is replaced with corrugated suede and shades of tan and olive green. The TPU typically found on the heel tab and lateral side branding is replaced with textile patches with black and white striping and branding. The side-panel Nike Swoosh is cream-colored chenille outlined in light blue embroidery.
What we enjoy most about this iconic sneaker with the singular upper is its tried-and-true sole unit. A Sail-colored foam midsole features an Air unit that's visible the under the heel and the rubber outsole in shades of light blue, cream, and black sports a heritage waffle pattern.
