The "Comet" color scheme used to create the Nike Air Max 95 Bright Crimson Comet was introduced way back in 2000. Nike brought it back in 2018 in celebration of the success the colorway enjoyed the first time around.

The textile upper on this Nike Air Max 95 features a combination of colors, including White, Pure Platinum, Grey, and, of course, Bright Crimson. It also has an all-black midsole with Air units in it, along with more Bright Crimson on the bottom to give the sneaker an extra pop of color. The small embroidered Swoosh on the lateral side of the sneaker is Bright Crimson, too, as is the Air Max badge that is stitched onto the tongue.

In the opinion of our sneaker experts, it's the nostalgia associated with this sneaker that makes it one of the better Air Max 95 colorways ever put out. Even though there were 18 years between the AM95 "Comet" releases, the colorway continues to shine bright. The Nike Air Max 95 Bright Crimson Comet was released on September 25, 2018, when it retailed for $160.
