Dressed in Black, Anthracite, and White colors, the Nike Air Max 97 Black GS was launched as part of Air Max 97 sneakers appearing under Nike’s brands in Grade School Sizing.

The Black GS Nike Air Max 97 features a dominant Black upper contrasting with the White accents that features on the Sneaker’s lateral side’s Nike Swoosh that reappears on the tongue in the same color. The White color scheme also appears on the sneaker’s "Air Max" brandings on the heel tab. The upper design also features a Black lacing system meant to ensure a comfortable and secure fitting and the pull tabs ensure easy wear. The lower design features Air Max units in the midsole for cushioning and support and the treaded rubber outsole for traction.
