The Nike Air Max 97 Ultra 17 Metallic Gold is a Christian Tresser design that gives this iconic silhouette a golden makeover in celebration of its 20th anniversary.

The upper of the Metallic Gold Nike Air Max 97 Ultra 17 features loose-weave gold mesh over an underlay of white textile, while ribbed gold textile surrounds the upper at the mudguard. 3M reflective detailing and wavy strips of synthetic leather in shades of white, tan, and brown circle the upper. Gold rope laces cross over a padded tongue with a black branding patch. Black pull loops at the heel and tongue ease on/off and match the black sock liner. A cut-out window on the side panel features a small red Nike Swoosh.

Our favorite part of this shoe is its iconic sole. A white Phylon foam midsole houses a full-length unit of gold-tinted Max Air and rests atop a black rubber outsole with chevron lugs to absorb impact and provide grip.
