The Nike Air VaporMax, celebrating Black History month in 2018, sports a black and gray FlyKnit upper with black synthetic overlays, barely distinguishable from the black synthetic Swoosh. Gold tips on black laces have VaporMax branding and "BHM" is embroidered on a black tongue tag. Red, black, and green stripes course down the heel and along the insole. A gleaming black midsole sits atop a translucent outsole, with hits of red and green.

What we love most about this shoe is the date "08 20 1993" stamped in gold on the black heel, commemorating the date when Gail Devers shattered the record to win the IAAF 100-Meter World Championship title – a record she still holds today.
