Designed by Nike co-founder and legendary track coach Bill Bowerman, the Nike Blazer Mid 77 Gray Fog is also known by its nickname – Coney Island Hoops. This sneaker updates a heritage basketball silhouette and dresses it in subtle colorway to complement any outfit or enhance any activity.

The Gray Fog Nike Blazer Mid-Top 77 has an upper crafted from pale gray suede with perforations on the side panel to allow ventilation. The suede is overlaid with tonal leather at the eyestays, forefoot mud guard, and toe cap for support and style. Embroidered Sky Blue Nike branding hits the gray textile heel tab and matches the Nike 77 basketball branding on the tongue with its exposed foam. A basketball lace jewel at the bottom of the laces completes the look of this upper. The white foam midsole provides cushioning and sits on an outsole of white rubber in a classic herringbone traction pattern.

What we enjoy most about this sneaker is the sky blue Nike Swoosh running across the side panel, a Nike element made popular in the early 1980s that has become one of the most iconic logos in brand history. The Nike Blazer Mid 77 Grey Fog debuted August 15, 2020, for $110 retail.
