The Nike Kobe 8 Lakers Away (GS), in grade school sizes, is an athletic shoe featuring a Black Flyknit upper accented by the Nike Swoosh in embroidered University Gold on the sides. A Black midsole contrasts a stark White outsole, while Court Purple and Kobe Bryant’s autograph accent the heel.

Kobe Bryant was a beloved Shooting Guard for the NBA’s Los Angeles Lakers, whose storied career captured attention from his rise as a youth in the Philadelphia suburbs until his tragic death in 2020. Having only ever played professionally for the Lakers, the Kobe 8 was designed by Eric Avar, and the Lakers Away colorway was used for the Lakers' away game uniforms.
