The Nike SB Alleyoop Black White is a low-top athletic shoe featuring a Black suede and mesh upper. Nike SB is the skateboarding offshoot of the American sneaker and athletic wear brand Nike. Introduced in 2002, Nike SB initially launched with a Dunk that featured additional padding tailored to skateboarders' needs. 

Black suede overlays cover a Black mesh base, accented by the Nike Swoosh in White. An outer heel patch obscures part of the Swoosh, while Nike SB branding appears in White on the tongue and rear heel tab. A White midsole and upper eyelet continue the pops of brightness, while a Black midsole grounds the look. The Alleyoop's modified Swoosh rests under a padded panel and is designed to give the shoe longevity in the face of skateboarding's rugged surface contact.

In our opinion, the Alleyoop's best feature is its heel padding, which creates a unique Nike aesthetic while offering functionality. The Nike SB Alleyoop Black White was released on January 15, 2020, and retailed for $75.
