Product Description

On Black Friday, 2012, the Ronnie Fieg x Puma OG Disc "Cove" was released at both Kith NYC locations and online via the shop's web store. What made the Puma Disc different than any of his prior sneaker releases, was that the team at Puma allowed Ronnie Fieg to make tweaks to one of their most celebrated technologies, the Disc. Although Ronnie was a fan of the Disc fastening system, RF felt as though the original asymmetrical toe box did not reflect modern design and fashion. After finishing the meeting with Puma, and receiving the final sample of the Cove Disc, Ronnie Fieg was happy with the now symmetrical toe box and newly added mudguard that wrapped around the toe cap. Another first for the Disc Coves was the customized packaging created for the in-store Kith releases. Each box was individual numbered one through 200, and marked the first time the Puma had ever delivered custom-boxes. Included inside was also an information card that discussed the evolution of the Discs form the original model. Adorned in the glowing blue Cove upper, one of Ronnie Fieg's most famous colorways, the Ronnie Fieg x Puma OG Disc "Cove" dons the "Just Us" slogan that has become synonymous with Kith, and it continues to be highly-admired by sneaker enthusiasts.
