Stussy Shark Pigment Dyed TeeFaded Black

Product Description

The Stussy Shark Pigment Dyed Tee in Faded Black is a premium graphic tee from the Los Angeles-based streetwear brand that has been foundational to the development of American streetwear since Shawn Stussy began selling surfboard-derived graphic tees in Laguna Beach in the early 1980s, featuring the Shark graphic — one of Stussy's most recognizable and most beloved recurring motifs that has appeared across the brand's tees, fleece, and accessories across multiple decades as an emblem of the brand's surf and skate heritage roots. The Shark graphic holds a specific place in Stussy's visual history as a design that predates the brand's full streetwear identity, connecting directly to the surfboard shaping and California coastal youth culture from which Stussy emerged, making Shark-graphic pieces particularly resonant for longtime Stussy fans who appreciate the motif's historical connection to the brand's founding aesthetic. The Pigment Dyed construction applies a garment-dyeing process that creates the Faded Black colorway's characteristic uneven, washed-out tone with natural variations in color depth across the fabric surface, giving the tee the pre-aged, sun-faded character of a genuinely well-worn garment rather than a new one — a material treatment particularly appropriate for Stussy's surf-and-street heritage context where wear and authenticity are the highest signals of belonging. Available through Stussy's online and physical retail channels and authorized streetwear retailers globally.
