The North Face 1996 Retro Nuptse JacketCoal Brown/Thunder

Product Description

The North Face 1996 Retro Nuptse Jacket Coal Brown/Thunder combines the Nuptse’s recognizable puffer shape with a brown-based colorway. The design draws on the proportions of the 1996 original, using broad horizontal baffles to create its substantial profile. Its boxy silhouette and prominent branding connect the jacket’s outdoor origins with the everyday styling that has made the Nuptse a familiar streetwear layer.

The jacket features 700-fill down insulation within a ripstop shell. A full front zipper and zippered hand pockets provide straightforward functionality, while adjustable cuffs and an internal hem drawcord allow the openings to be refined. The quilted sections distribute the jacket’s volume across the body and sleeves, making the baffle arrangement an important part of both its construction and appearance.

For collectors of classic outerwear, this edition offers an earthy palette within a well-established silhouette. Coal Brown/Thunder works naturally with denim, black trousers, or neutral fleece, leaving the jacket’s shape and contrasting sections central to the outfit. The North Face 1996 Retro Nuptse Jacket Coal Brown/Thunder had a retail price of $380.
