Big Facts: Sneakers, Then and Now

StockX started as a sneaker resale platform in 2016 and has quickly grown into a multi-category e-commerce marketplace for sneakers, apparel, electronics, collectibles, and accessories. In just five years, the company has transformed from a six-person office in Detroit to a global platform with customers in more than 200 countries and territories and over 1,000 team members around the world. In celebration of StockX’s five-year anniversary, we look at the trends that have shaped the sneaker market over the last half-decade — including the brands that made gains, the models that saw losses, and the silhouettes that withstood the test of time.
